Locating and diagnostic system for detecting faults in underground pipelines and cables. The equipment quickly determines the underground pipelines and cables location, depth and the condition of the isolation coating/covering.

Description

The system consists of two units: the RL-01 – receiver-locator and the 100 Watt G-100 signal generator.

The system determinates the depth of the underground utilities automatically and continuously, and measures the current trace in real time. Analyses the condition of the pipes, cables and their isolation coating/covering simultaneously with location detection, identifying corrosion failures including estimates of defect severity or location of neighboring power cable. The inspection method is noncontact without A-frame using. The system allows making all types of the survey in one-pass without any repeated measurements.

Features
< Operate in five frequency ranges (0.5, 2, 8, 33 and 58 kHz) for maximum coverage of all possible types of the underground utilities considering their specifics.
