Training & Certification

Training & Certification

AddGlobe provides instrument introduction, professional training in High Volume Sampling, and manufacturer certification programs for Gas Flow Meter users and technical teams.

The programs are designed to ensure correct instrument operation, consistent measurement practice, and reliable preparation of operators working with direct measurement equipment in real field conditions.

Instrument Introduction (Included)

For customers who already have experience working with comparable measurement equipment, AddGlobe provides a basic instrument introduction, included in the price of the device.

This session is intended as an initial orientation and familiarization with the instrument, not as formal training.

Format and scope:

  • Online with a qualified High Volume Sampling expert
  • Approximate duration: 1.5 hours
  • Instrument overview and operating logic
  • Questions and answers

This introduction does not include certification, examination, or registry inclusion.

Training & Certification Programs

For teams requiring deeper operational understanding or formal confirmation of competence, AddGlobe offers dedicated training and certification programs.

Certification Registry

AddGlobe maintains an internal registry of manufacturer-certified specialists.

Only individuals who have successfully completed the required training and passed the certification examination are included in the registry.

Manufacturer certification may be required to confirm the validity of measurements performed using AddGlobe equipment and to support project audits, quality reviews, or third-party verification processes.

Training Programs

1. Manufacturer Certification Program (Full Program)

This is the most comprehensive AddGlobe training program and the primary pathway to manufacturer certification and registry inclusion.

Typical structure:

  • Group size: up to 10 participants
  • Theory and practical training
  • Hands-on work with the instrument
  • Dedicated troubleshooting sessions
  • Questions and answers
  • Formal examination

Certification and registry inclusion are granted only upon successful completion of the examination.

During the program, participants work through the complete measurement workflow, from instrument preparation to data handling and troubleshooting, including:

  • Measurement theory and analytical principles
  • Physical processes behind flow, gas concentration, and leak quantification
  • Instrument setup, startup, and testing procedures
  • Correct purging logic and oxygen reference adjustment
  • Operating modes and their correct application
  • Selection and use of accessories
  • Practical measurement methodology and efficient field workflow
  • Configuration of key parameters and understanding when they must not be changed
  • Working with measurement data on the mobile device
  • Data export and basic data handling
  • Identification of invalid or unreliable measurements
  • Daily functional checks and verification procedures
  • Calibration principles and correct calibration workflow and recordkeeping
  • Verification or bump testing practices and documentation
  • Understanding when calibration or recalibration is required
  • Typical user errors observed in real projects
  • Troubleshooting unstable readings and inconsistent results

2. Attendance Program

The Attendance Program is intended for participants who require structured exposure to the instrument but do not require manufacturer certification.

Key characteristics:

  • Shorter and less intensive than the Full Program
  • Theory and practical components
  • Operating features, modes, settings, calibration and verification concepts, data handling, and maintenance overview
  • Questions and answers
  • No examination

Participants receive a certificate of attendance but are not included in the certification registry.

3. Intensive Program (Regional)

The Intensive Program is a compact, practice-oriented format designed for small groups and focused operational use cases.

Key characteristics:

  • Duration: 2–3 working days
  • Group size: up to 6 participants
  • Strong emphasis on practical operation and troubleshooting

Certification is optional and may be granted only if an examination is conducted and successfully passed.

This format is currently available in selected regions, including the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean.

4. Custom Training Programs

Custom training programs are developed based on specific client requests, including:

  • Project-specific requirements
  • Internal methodologies
  • Mixed experience levels
  • Large or distributed teams

Scope, structure, duration, and pricing are defined individually.

Certification and Registry Rules

Manufacturer certification is granted only after successful examination and verification.

Certification confirms competence in instrument operation and troubleshooting and represents manufacturer-level confirmation of training completion.

Certification does not replace regulatory licenses or statutory requirements.

Registry inclusion is strictly linked to examination results and successful verification.
